Texsolv Heddles 280/20 – Closed Eye

Heddles for weaving looms compatible with the Texsolv system.
This model features a closed eye, commonly used for high-density weaving, finer materials, or whenever precise thread positioning is essential.

Each bundle contains 100 heddles, packaged and ready to mount on your loom shafts.

These heddles fit looms that use the Texsolv heddle system.
However, compatibility may vary depending on the loom manufacturer’s specifications.
We recommend measuring your existing heddles before ordering to ensure the correct length.

Guide

Everything about 280/20

Open the question you have. Full guides on texsolv.se.

What do the numbers 280/20 mean, and how do I measure?
280 mm (11") 20 mm eye (¾")

The first number is the length, 280 mm (11"), the second the eye, 20 mm (¾"). To check an old heddle, stretch it gently between two sticks against a tape measure and read the full length. Don't measure a cut piece.

This size has a closed eye, which holds the warp thread exactly in place for dense weaving and precise thread positioning.

Which colours, and what are they for?

One colour per shaft makes the threading readable from across the room and shows at once where a heddle belongs when you add or move one. A colour can also mark a border or a stripe in the warp.

280/20 is made in white. Colours are made for 150/12, 160/12, 205/12, 220/12, 237/12, 268/12, 280/12, 318/12, 330/12, 392/12 and Mirrix.

How do I mount and thread them?

Slip the tied bundle of 100 onto the heddle bars, untie and distribute. Cut ends never need fusing. To thread: fold the warp end, push it through the rectangular eye with a finger and pull through. Easy right- or left-handed.

Made a mistake in the sequence? A new heddle can be inserted at the correction point without re-threading the shaft.

Can I wash them?

Yes, in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, preferably tied together in a laundry bag so they do not tangle. Let them dry at room temperature; do not iron or tumble-dry.
